Functions:

• To promote water metabolism and reduce edema;
• To relieve jaundice;
• To dispel toxins and eliminate pus

Indications & Combinations:

• Edema. Chixiaodou is used with Baimaogen and Sangbaipi.

• Edema due to deficiency in spleen or kidneys. Chixiaodou is cooked with carp to make a soup for drinking.

• Boils and carbuncles due to toxic heat. The decoction of Chixiaodou is used externally for washing.

• Damp-heat jaundice. Chixiaodou is used with Yinchenhao and Zhizi.

• 10-30 g
