Latin: Excrementum Bombycis Mon

Functions:

• To dispel wind and dampness;
• To harmonize the stomach and transform dampness

Indications & Combinations:

• Damp-heat obstruction syndrome. Cansha is used with Fangji, Yiyiren and Huashi in the formula Xuanbi Tang.

• Eczema. The decoction of the herb is used for external washing.

• Turbid dampness blocking the spleen and stomach manifested as vomiting, diarrhea, cramps and abdominal pain; Cansha is used with Huangqin, Mugua and Wuzhuyu in the formula Canshi Tang.

Dosage:

• 5-10 g
