Actions:

  • Clear blood and stopping bleeding: various bleeding, like vomiting or coughing or blood, nasal bleeding, uterine bleeding; e.g. with Xian He Cao
  • Clear lower Burner heat and promote urination: painful burning urination, edema; e.g. with Zhu Ling, Che Qian Cao, Hua Shi
  • Clear Lung and Stomach heat: thirst, vomiting, cough; e.g. with Lu Gen

Dosage:

  • 9-24g
