Properties: Spicy, Bitter, Warm

Common: Corydalis Rhizome

Latin: Rhizoma Corydalis Yanhusuo

Actions:

  • Promote Blood and Qi circulation and alleviate pain: various pain due to Qi and Blood stagnation, such as stomachache, abdominal pain, dysmenorrheal, chest and flank pain, hernia pain; e.g. Jin Ling Zi San, with Chuan Lian Zi(Jin Ling Zi)

Dosage:

  • 4.5-12g. Fry in vinegar to enhance its painkiller effect
