Common: Peach Kernel

Latin: Semen Pruni Persicae

Actions:

  • Expel blood stasis: various blood stasis, such as gynecologic diseases, Zheng Jia, abdominal pain, traumatic injury and Lung or Intestine abscesses; e.g. Tao Hong Si Wu Tang with Hong Hua
  • Moist laxative: chronic constipation; e.g. Huo Ma Ren, Yu Li Ren

Dosage:

  • 6-10g

Contraindications:

  • During pregnancy should be prohibited
