Functions:
- To dispel wind and dampness;
- To harmonize the stomach and transform dampness
Indications & Combinations:
- Damp-heat obstruction syndrome. Cansha is used with Fangji, Yiyiren and Huashi in the formula Xuanbi Tang.
- Eczema. The decoction of the herb is used for external washing.
- Turbid dampness blocking the spleen and stomach manifested as vomiting, diarrhea, cramps and abdominal pain; Cansha is used with Huangqin, Mugua and Wuzhuyu in the formula Canshi Tang.
