Actions:

  • Regulate Liver Qi
  • Regulate menstruation and alleviate pain

1.     Liver Qi stagnation cause flank or breast distention and pain, stomach, hernia; e.g. Chai Hu Shu Gan San, with Chai Hu, Bai Shao, Zhi Ke

2.     Harmonize Qi and Blood, especially for various gynecologic disease, such as Qi and blood stagnation cause dysmenorrhea, uterine bleeding; e.g. with Dang GuiChuan XiongYu Jin

Dosage:

  • 4.5-12g: frying with vinegar tend to Liver channel to smooth Liver Qi and stop pain(increase action)
