Actions:

• Stop bleeding and invigorate the blood
• Dispel blood stasis and alleviate pain

1.     Stop bleeding and remove blood stasis, use for various bleeding, injury with or without clots and pain; e.g. with Xian He Cao, San Qi

2.     Invigorate blood circulation and alleviate pain: use for dysmenorrheal, postpartum abdominal pain, chest pain, traumatic pain; e.g. Shi Xiao San with Wu Ling Zhi

Dosage:

• 4.5-12g. Places in a bag when decoction. Use in raw form to dispel blood stasis and alleviate pain; roasting to be charcoal form to stop bleeding.

• Women during pregnancy should be prohibited.
