Channels: HT, KI, LIV 

Properties: Sweet, Slightly Warm

Common: Chinese Foxglove Root (Cooked in Wine)

Latin: cooked Radix Rehmanniae

Actions:

  • Nourish Blood: Blood deficiency cause pale complextion, dizziness, palpitation, blurred vision, scanty menstruation; e.g. Si Wu Tang, with Dang Gui, Bai Shao, Chuan Xiong
  • Nourish Kidney essence and Yin: tinnitus, light-headedness, dizziness, lowe libido, amenorrhea, lose hair, or dry mouth; e.g. Liu Wei Di Huang Wan with Shan Zhu Yu, Shan Yao, Fu Ling

Contraindications:

  • If the patient has middle Jiao dampness or phlegm should be careful or with Sha Ren

Dosage:

 

  • 9-30g
